What is the Difference Between Moving Meditation & Still Meditation
The two wings of meditation practice — one cultivates the body's harmony with nature, the other awakens consciousness beyond the cycle of change.

"Hi Sifu, I didn't hear the difference between Moving Meditation & Still Meditation. Are you able to give a summary please?"
Answer — also as Friday class summary:
Moving Meditation
Moving meditation is Tai Chi.
To aware body action, posture, the energy motion with nature harmonies of meditation rhythm — to create 4 elements force without personal blind movement.
Perfect harmony with opposite of extreme Yin and Yang changing force.
Moving meditation for body no tension, to develop intuition ability of martial arts self defense, and finally becoming Still meditation ability to aware of system of Dao (Tao), which is the law of universe.
Into such awareness abilities is Taoism Eternal Nature Being (energy God).
Still Meditation
Still meditation is not Still.
It mean consciousness not blindly following blind cause habits karma but aware of not changing eternal wisdom Dharma.
So Still means:
- Staying abilities as still eternal wisdom system to change
- Aware of essence of consciousness is not the change force as empty as no form, no form no change, so it's still
The Highest Level
Meditation in both ability — Eternal Still harmony with extremes Yin Yang change — and — No form No beginning No end still no change — is Taoist meditation highest level.
Perfect Tai Chi 太極 meditation and unlimited Wu Chi 無極 meditation as One.
Buddhism Still Meditation
Buddhism Still meditation, the same as Daoism meditation, but go beyond with Four Eternal Hearts and Six Bodhisattva Characters to develop unlimited wisdoms to helps unlimited life and create Pure Land for all the kindness and awakening heart to learning unlimited Dharma as Amitabha Buddha and all other Buddha and Bodhisattvas.
Follow blind Causation-I, no end of suffering.
Follow eternal Dharmas, unlimited wisdom and joy appears.
May we follow awakening Dharma and eternal birth into Amitabha Buddha Pure Land to learning unlimited wisdoms.
