🔗 Definition of Dharma
🔗 4 Noble Truths – More Detail
🔹 Opening Reflection: What is Dharma?
- Dharma teaches eternal wisdom and acts as a practical guide for life.
- Dharma is true in all time, space, for every life form and situation.
- Dharma cannot be pulled apart or made “more complete.” It is already complete from every angle.
- If you only analyse Dharma trying to “make it perfect,” you miss the point—it’s already perfect.
🔹 Example: Human Wisdom vs. Dharma
- Einstein quote: “The purpose of life is to help others.”
- But:
- What is life?
- What kind of help?
- Who are “others”? Some people are doing harm—should we help them too?
- Human wisdom is not complete—you can always add or subtract from it.
- Dharma, by contrast, cannot be broken down or debated in the same way. It always remains whole.
🔹 On Human Teachers
- Every teacher has limitations (unless Buddha-level).
- “Convenient wisdom” = wisdom adjusted to human awareness or capability.
- More convenient = when wisdom is matched to someone’s individual motivation and situation.
