Great Force Bodhisattva Meditation Technique: 6 Senses connect to Pure Land.
In the Surangama Sutra – Siddhartha Buddha invites 25 of the highest level Buddhas and Bodhisattvas from all the unlimited universes to share their meditation techniques they used to become so free, wise and compassionate.
One system comes from Great Force Bodhisattva – his technique is called “Bowing to Buddha’s Pure Land System.”
His technique is to purify each of your six senses again and then connect each one to Amitabha system.
Practice this meditation. First just one sense, in one style. Then eventually you can practice all senses and all styles joined together sincerely in this lifetime.
Then Pure Land is surely your karma.
Sense of sight
- Use a memory of Sifu showing space changing – your feeling becomes aware life is illusion. Or connect to one from your own memory: your third eye experiencing seeing a spiritual image, signs, space, colors, lights, Buddha or Bodhisattva.
- Concentrate to recreate that amazing impressed and wonderful feeling. Match Sifu's body language: relaxed posture, straight centre, even finger detail, eyes half closed. Add mantra, spiritual sound, spiritual space, spiritual smell of sandalwood.
- When successful, your greedy eyes start to shut down searching for something. Connect to spiritual eyes. Your energy changes.
- With that eternal force energy, observe philosophy and bow to Amitabha. Swap your seeing power from this mess world to Amitabha Buddha.
Sense of sound
- Use your memory of Sifu’s voice when speaking philosophy. Observe its spiritual qualities—deep, powerful, calm, kind, mysterious, etc.
- Develop and practice your own sound with sincere, direct, truthful heart. Match each word's meaning with your voice.
- Use that quality to respectfully bow to Amitabha Buddha. Speak his name and express your will to go to his Pure Land.
Sense of thinking
- Like still water, don’t touch thinking power—guide it into a philosophy direction.
- Observe Eternal wisdom philosophy. Question and doubt until all questions dissolve.
- Aware the difference between your thinking and Eternal wisdom. The latter is ego-free and perfectly content.
- Eventually your sincere heart appears. Intuition opens.
- Use that purified moment to connect to Amitabha Pure Land.
Addition:
- Taiji: Non-stop following philosophy removes ego. It's Moving Meditation—a joyful, wise practice.
Sifu Addition:
- “My heart becomes pure again... Naturally want to offer and share wisdom and compassion to everyone I connect to.”
Sense of touch
- Understand you constantly experience touch unconsciously. Breathing is internal touch—stomach, lungs, blood flow.
- Become aware of this movement. Your body works better without ego interference.
- Ego creates tension. Natural breathing disappears.
- Observing it separates you from ego "I".
- Feel connection to the ground. Energy opens and moves.
- At that moment, call Amitabha Buddha. Think of his Will and three conditions.
- Each breath becomes amazing 🙂
- Energy rebuilds perfectly:
- You experience touch—lungs, heartbeat, energy flow—but usually miss it.
- In meditation, feel the illusion.
- Joy and light arise; touch becomes perfect.
- Posture and meditation become quiet, joyful.
- Golden light outlines the body—posture becomes see-through.
- Body’s four elements lose ego; use that connection to reach Buddha.
Detail:
Because consciousness can create, calm your searching heart and recreate spiritual memories through any sense to connect with Buddha.
Your eight consciousnesses create blind karma.
First, turn off that connection. Then recreate spiritual memories from one or all senses. Move from searching heart to pure heart. Develop appreciation, respect, and a heart aligned with Eternal wisdom.
Clean each sense and use it to connect to Amitabha Buddha.
